World Pharmacist Day

Today is World Pharmacist Day!

Thank you to all the pharmacists from AVO Biotech and all over the world for always guiding us on healthcare and wellness, supporting us with a smile, great dependableness, peace of mind, and

great work in improving the health system.

World Pharmacist Day is observed globally on September 25 every year. This day is celebrated to

create awareness about the role of a pharmacist in improving health. The day was an initiative of

the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) along with the council of this organization. This

year’s theme is Pharmacy Strengthening Health Systems.

The original name of pharmacist or apothecary (/pkri/) is an archaic English term for a medical professionalwho formulates and dispenses, with a pharmacy license, materia medica (medicine) to physicians, surgeons,

and patients. The modern terms "pharmacist" and "chemist" (British English) have taken on this role.

Pharmacists helped us a lot during the COVID-19 crisis. We will never forget them and salute them for

how they helped us in this suffering period. It is a chance to say thanks now. Let's send warm

wishes to them today.

How to Celebrate World Pharmacist Day

Get on board and show some appreciation to pharmacists near and far by celebrating and

enjoying World Pharmacists Day. Get creative with plans or observe the day with some of these

ideas:

Thank a Pharmacist and Show some Love to a Special Pharmacist who does good things

without announcing it to the world and be a part of making the global public health industry strong

and to always take care of the people's health very well.

Those who have a pharmacist (or two!) in their family or friend group might want to make a big

deal out of them in celebration of World Pharmacist Day!

Whatever would make a pharmacist friend feel loved is exactly the activity that should be done!
