Childhood Cancer Day

Cancer is a disease that affects not just adults, but young adults and children too. There are still an estimated 300,000 children and adolescents under the age of 19 years old who develop cancer each year. Death rates of childhood cancer are very high in developing countries compared to developed countries.

International Childhood Cancer Day (ICCD) is a global collaborative campaign that takes place every year on February 15 to raise awareness about childhood cancer and timely diagnosis.
The message of the 2023 ICCD is: Better Survival is achievable #ThroughTheirHands.

ICCD 2023 will focus on survivorship, the roles, and collaborations in improving their health, quality of life, and well-being.
