The AVO team has joined the 22nd Federation of Asian Veterinary Association (FAVA) Congress 2023 in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia from 3rd to 5th November, 2023.FAVA holds with the purpose of providing a platform for the exchange of innovative veterinary ideas, knowledge and experiences that will helps advancing the veterinary profession and the practice of veterinary medicine, ultimately enhancing the quality of life for the people of the Asia-Oceania region.
In the FAVA Congress 2023 , Rabies control is one of the main topic of the congress due to the ongoing rabies outbreak in Sarawak, Malaysia and AVO also discussed the Rabies Control Plan in Southeast Asia. AVO rabies antigen/antibody rapid test kits gained a lot of interest from Department of Veterinary Sarawak, Federation of Asian Veterinary Association, Malaysia Veterinary Association and The Japan Society of Clinical Study for Rabies.
