Canine coronavirus is a highly contagious virus causing gastrointestinal infection in dogs, especially puppies. It usually causes short-lived, mild infections that may cause diarrhoea in dogs.
Canine parvovirus is a highly contagious virus that causes gastrointestinal disease, especially in young puppies and unvaccinated dogs. The disease often progresses very quickly and can lead to severe dehydration and death. This disease is preventable with regular vaccination and is part of the core vaccines routinely administered to dogs in many countries.
This product ( Canine Combo - CPV/CCV ) does not require any additional equipment and is used for the rapid screening of canine coronaviral and canine parvoviral antigen in the feces of dogs. It is recommended that you consult your veterinarian if your pet is unwell and the results should be interpreted together with a physical examination and other diagnostics conducted by your veterinarian.
